For most concrete projects we can start within 2–4 weeks of contract signing. Remodels involving cabinets or custom tile run 6–10 weeks out because of material lead times. Solar detach & reset is often scheduled around the roofing contractor's timeline — sometimes within a week.

How much does a concrete driveway cost in Prescott?

Concrete is walk-on hard in 24–48 hours, safe for vehicles at 7 days, and reaches ~90% of full strength at 28 days. In Arizona summer heat, we time pours for early morning and use curing compounds or wet curing to prevent flash-set and surface cracking.

Why does concrete crack?

All concrete cracks — the question is where. We build control joints into every pour so the concrete cracks along the joints rather than across the surface. Cracking beyond that is usually caused by inadequate base prep, poor drainage, missing rebar, or vehicles exceeding the slab's rated capacity.

How thick should my driveway be?

For residential passenger vehicles, 4 inches over a compacted 4-inch base is standard. For heavy vehicles, RVs, or truck-and-trailer loads, we upgrade to 5 or 6 inches with #4 rebar on 18-inch centers. We spec each project based on your actual use.

What is solar detach and reset?

Solar detach and reset is the process of temporarily removing rooftop solar panels so a roofing contractor can replace or repair the roof underneath, then reinstalling the panels with new flashing and reconnecting them to the inverter and grid. We're one of the few licensed contractors in Yavapai County offering this as a specialty service.

How long does solar detach and reset take?

Detach is usually 1 day for a typical residential array (20–30 panels). The roofing crew works between detach and reset. Reset is another 1 day plus commissioning. Total customer downtime is whatever the roof itself takes — usually 3–7 days.

Yes — we partner with roofing contractors across northern Arizona. Roofers subcontract the solar work to us so their crews stay focused on the roof and homeowners get a licensed specialist handling the electrical and mounting side.

A full kitchen remodel typically runs 6–10 weeks from demo to final walk-through in the Prescott area. Cabinet lead times drive the schedule — semi-custom cabinets take 4–8 weeks to arrive after order. Simpler refreshes (paint, countertops, hardware, appliances) can be done in 2–3 weeks.

How much deposit do you require?

Typically 10–25% at contract signing to reserve your slot on the schedule and order long-lead materials. The balance is split between a mid-project progress payment and final payment at walk-through.
