Spray foam roofing

Spray foam roofing with a protective coating.

Seamless SPF that insulates, self-flashes every penetration, and builds slope where water used to sit — topped with silicone for UV protection.

Spray foam roofing

One material that waterproofs, insulates, and re-slopes.

Spray polyurethane foam goes down as a liquid and expands into a continuous, fully adhered layer with no seams and no fasteners — it self-flashes around every curb, pipe, and parapet. That's why SPF has one of the best long-term leak records of any flat-roof system in the Southwest. It's also the only roof that meaningfully insulates. At roughly R-6.5 per inch, a few inches of foam changes how a building holds heat, and we can spray it thicker in the low spots to build positive drainage toward the drains — solving ponding without tearing out the deck. Foam has to be protected from UV, so every SPF roof we install gets a silicone or acrylic topcoat with granules at the traffic areas. That coating is the maintenance item: recoat it every 10–20 years and the foam underneath can last the life of the building.

Frequently asked

Common questions

How long does a spray foam roof last?

The foam itself can last 30+ years if the protective coating is maintained. Plan on a recoat roughly every 10–20 years depending on the system.

Does spray foam roofing help with cooling costs?

Yes, more than any other flat-roof option. The foam adds real insulation value and the reflective topcoat keeps surface temperatures down.

Can spray foam go over my existing roof?

Often, yes — over sound built-up, modified bitumen, or metal, after cleaning and repair. Wet or delaminated substrate has to be removed first.

Does hail or foot traffic damage foam?

Foam is repairable, and traffic areas get granulated coating or walk pads. Punctures are easy to patch, which is part of why the system holds up long-term.
