Safety Standards

A safe job site is a good job site.

Safety is the first thing we plan and the last thing we compromise on. Here's how Anchor Collective protects our crew, your family, and your property on every project.

OSHA-compliant job sites

Every Anchor Collective crew leader has completed OSHA 10 (many hold OSHA 30). We follow OSHA 1926 construction standards for excavation, PPE, tool use, and hazard communication on every job — residential, contractor partnership, and commercial.

Fall protection for elevated work

Solar detach & reset and any roof-adjacent work uses OSHA-compliant fall protection: harnesses, anchor points, and ladder tie-offs. No one on our crew works above 6 feet without proper arrest systems in place.

Utility & hazard awareness

Every excavation for concrete work is called in through Arizona 811 (Blue Stake) at least two business days ahead. We also identify overhead power lines, gas meters, and existing solar wiring before any tool comes out of the truck.

Crew PPE & job-site protocol

  • Hard hats, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots required on all active job sites
  • Cut-resistant gloves for tile, metal flashing, and demo work
  • Hearing protection near saws, compactors, and concrete cutting equipment
  • Respiratory protection during silica-generating cutting or grinding (OSHA silica rule 1926.1153)
  • First-aid kits and fire extinguishers on every crew truck
  • Daily 'toolbox talk' before work begins — reviewing hazards for that specific site

Keeping your home safe

  • Work zones marked with cones or caution tape — kids and pets kept clear
  • Extension cords secured overhead or against walls, never across walkways
  • Debris cleared or bagged at end of every workday
  • Fresh concrete flagged and roped for a minimum of 24 hours to prevent injury or damage
  • Rooftop solar work coordinated so no one is home directly beneath detach points
  • MSDS/SDS sheets available for any chemicals used inside your home
Insurance & bonding

Fully covered — for your peace of mind and ours.

Anchor Collective LLC carries general liability insurance, workers' compensation for every crew member, and a contractor's license bond through the Arizona Registrar of Contractors. Certificates of insurance are available on request before any project starts. Under Arizona law, hiring a licensed contractor (ROC #366257) also gives you access to the ROC's Residential Contractor's Recovery Fund as a consumer protection backstop.
